The University of Michigan's FTVM 423 class, "Practicum for the Screenwriter" is the most advanced, collaborative, and experiential filmmaking course at the University of Michigan. Through the collaboration of students from various departments and disciplines, such as the Film & Television Dept., Music, Art & Design, Business, and more, every student contributes their creativity and passion for filmmaking in creating the short film, I'm Not a Bad Person.

Frankfort48 Film Contest

In only 48 hours, aspiring filmmakers must brainstorm a film idea, find locations, film, edit, and present a 3-5 minute film that celebrates the beauty of northern Michigan

Cash and prizes are awarded to the top three Frankfort48 filmmakers

I’m Not a Bad Person will premiere at the contest on June 13th, followed by a Q&A with the student filmmakers
